Crawling and Horton

Jensen wants to move around so badly and I kind of want him to. I know that I will regret saying this when he is getting into cupboards and following me around the house, but he falls down all the time and it would be nice if he could sit himself back up.
He is getting close.
So long Baby Einstein . . . Hello Horton.
The other day I was at Target being the Target Lady that I am, when Horton Hears a Who just happened to fall in our shopping cart. It was on sale for ten dollars. Who could pass that up? Later, I put it on while I was watching Ellie our neighbor thinking she would like it since she is older than Jensen. Well she didn't like it, but Jensen did. He just kept laughing and he was laughing at the right parts too! Maybe he recognized Steve Carell's voice from The Office. His parents laugh at him all the time too!

Where's Jensen?

This is not my Jensen. . .

This boy isn't eating his favorite snacks. . .

This boy sneezes with lots of yucky stuff coming out. . .

This boy coughs hard and then lets out a whine {It breaks my heart every time!} . . .

This boy falls asleep on his mommy (this one makes up for all the ones above). . .

I can't wait to have the happy healthy Jensen back.

After missing church, no daily walks at the park, and a messed up night

schedule I am so ready for him to get better.

I know that he wants himself back too!

I miss my Jensen.

Valentine Present from my Honey

I told my honey that I didn't want flowers or candy this year for Valentine's Day. Not very romantic I know but I wanted something tangible. So earlier this week he said that I could buy myself a new skirt. Which I needed badly and was totally happy picking out and getting.

Yesterday I was totally surprised when he handed me an extra well thought out present, The Snuggie! If you haven't heard about the Snuggie I am not sure what planet you live on. It's the blanket that has sleeves! Ellen references these daily on her show, have been featured on the Today show, and is the best infomercial I have ever seen. On it a family is wearing them in the crowd cheering at a football game and around a campfire toasting marshmallows. Now that is a selling point.

It may look like I am a Jedi Night, a Smurf, or trying out for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, but one thing is for sure, I will never have cold arms again when I read a book, watch T.V. or cheer on BYU football.
If I haven't convinced you yet that you need one, it comes with a book light so you can read all night long.
If any of you are still doubters about the whole Snuggie business, next time you are typing a new blog just answer me this. . . Are your arms warm right now? Well mine are. They are toasty warm.

The second best part of the day yesterday was being serenaded in a singing telegram "Wild Thing" by the Young Women in my ward. Most of them my Beehives. They were totally cute.

Thanks Dovey for my awesome gifts this Valentine's Day.

My Lil' Heartbreaker!

Even though he hasn't been sleeping well lately due to a
runny nose, he still makes my heart melt.
I just love this little guy.

Happy Valentine's Day
Love,
The Lil' Heartbreaker

Our Quick Trip to Panaca

This past weekend we went on a quick family trip to Panaca, Nevada to watch our nephew Dantley play ball.

Jensen was great in the car but when we got there he was fussy. We thought that he was hungry but he wasn't. When we got into the gym he settled down right away. That kid loves to watch basketball. His Great Grandpa Knudsen and Great Grandpa Jensen must be smiling in heaven!

Our red-headed nephew is so fun to watch. He owns the court like all the other Walker boys that have played before him. As a sophomore, Dantley had his career high with 43 points on Friday against Wendover. On Saturday he had 30 points with 10 assists to defeat White Pine. The best play of the whole weekend was a pass Dantley threw between his legs to his trailing teammate who slam dunked it.
The best thing about the trip, besides the entertaining games and visiting with family, was of course the banana shakes in Alamo at R Place. Yes, shakes should be plural, one on the way up and one on the way back. Those are the best shakes in Nevada! It makes the trip on the lonely highway very pleasant.
