Jimmer Mania

A friend came over today and wanted help making Jimmer t-shirts for her family for the big game tonight. Word is getting out how awesome silhouettes are. I decided I needed to make Jensen one to wear while he watched the game with his Daddy. I used iron on vinyl that cuts like butter in my silhouette. It's kind of addictive that stuff.

Go Jimmer and Go Cougars!
It's going to be a tough game tonight.

Preschool Field Trip

Jensen has been going to preschool for the past month. It consists of four moms that each take a turn at their home and their four children. We allotted us a make-up day in case something came up, but we ended up not needing it so we decided a field trip was in order. We headed to Lied Discovery Museum in downtown Las Vegas. It was great that we went as a group to get the discounted prices.

We were waiting outside for the rest of our group to show up when Lucy decided to walk off the path and trip. She scrapped her nose on a bush and was left looking like Rudolph the rest of the day.

There was lots for the kids to do here for both Jensen's and Lucy's age.

They even have a teacup ride just like Disneyland. Here is my neighbor Marian with her two girls and Jensen getting dizzy.

Jensen of course found anything to do with a car in the museum.

He even wanted this one to come off but luckily it was glued down or I think he would of wanted to take it home.

Our little mechanic.

Jensen's second favorite activity was the water/bubbles exhibits.

Lucy was a little short for the water table but that is probably for the best. She would of climbed in and started splashing.

They had huge bubble troughs that Jensen kept thinking were water trays. He dipped his whole arm in and was soapy until he returned to the water tray. Maybe that's why they are located right next to each other.

Little pilots and stewardesses in training.

Jensen wanted to play hoops or maybe he has been brainwashed with all the basketball that has been on our TV lately.

By this time Jensen kept saying "done". He had had all the fun he could handle for one day.

But I had one last thing I wanted him to try. The wind tunnel.

It was a successful field trip. Jensen is looking forward to the next one, the fire station.

Our little Rudolph had fun too!

11 o'clock News

My computer was declared "toast" by our computer guy/friend/neighbor. Hopefully we get a new one soon but I just wanted to blog this real fast on Quincy's work computer.

Lucy was on the 11 o'clock local news last night. In case you missed it check this out (wait for the commerical) . It's all thanks to her famous cousin Dantley Walker. We are so proud of him and just can't wait to see him in Rebel Red!

Little Miss Strikes Again!

A couple of weekends ago Quincy was being a computer hog, but for a legitimate reason. He had to speak in church. Since there was nothing to watch on my DVR I decided to get the sewing machine out and make Lucy a skirt. I got this pattern from my sis-in-law, Missy, months ago. She always has the best taste in patterns and fabric and well . . . everything!
It is a super full skirt but that's why it's so cute and it will fit her for awhile. When Lucy put it on for the first time she did her little strut down the hall showing it off. Who does she get that from?! She has a matching hat that I made last summer to go with but she wants nothing to do with that. She continues to crack me up everyday!

Lucy likes to blow kisses. She even makes the smack sound with her lips.

Jensen played along for one shot.

This one is for my mom. She wanted to see my long overdue haircut. Five inches off!
