Jensen's highlight of every school day is the bus. If you ask him what he did at school he still will only talk about the bus. I have a love for the bus too. It comes and picks him up right in front of our house even though we live at a dead end and it's hard for them to turn around. They also drop him off after school which is right during Lucy's nap time so I don't have to wake her up just to go get him. On one or more occasions when the morning bus driver has had a day off (or slept in) and the bus doesn't come, I have had to take Jensen to school. School isn't far, it's just a pain to load both kids, drive to school, unload the kids, and walk Jensen into the office and then load Lucy back up to head home. See, we are super spoiled. So I wanted to do something nice for the two different bus drivers that Jensen has had this school year.
Do you remember calling the bus the Yellow Twinkie? So I thought why not wrap a Twinkie to look like a bus. I mean it is the perfect shape for a bus, hence why it is called the yellow Twinkie. So I got busy on Photoshop and this is what I made.
Stuff those babies with yellow Twinkies.
Other side.
Wrapped some of those bad boys up in a bag and tied a ribbon. Easy and they looked pretty cute!
Here are the downloads below. I wrote a couple different messages in case you don't have a bus driver you could give them to teachers.
Just print them out at Costco (take off auto correction) as a 4x6. Score on the very top and very bottom line and use double sided tape to attach them together.
