For Christmas we headed to Utah to celebrate with my family this year. I get way more turns with my family on Christmas than Quincy does, but I am not going to complain. I'm just going to go with it. We got there a couple of days before Christmas which was good because we got to do some of the festivities in Utah.
On the first day we were there we were going to go see the Muppets with my parents and brother Matt and his family, but it was sold out. (only in Utah) That is why you see Kermit peaking out of Jensen's shirt. Instead we headed to Thanksgiving Point for the lights and the reindeer. Before we could enjoy the lights we stopped at JCW's for a hamburger and a banana shake. The lights were fun especially with the 3D glasses. When it came time to the reindeer we were all too cold to enjoy looking at them. It was a quick peek and then back to the warm car before we froze to death. Brrr!
The second day was Christmas Eve. I spent most of the morning getting one last project done for Lucy before Christmas could start. This Olivia skirt. I have had this fabric for years and it was going to get done this year or else. We had found women stockings at Target the day before that matched perfectly and I turned them into leggings for Lucy. Other than that we had a low key day with lunch at Cafe Rio with my parents, brother T.J. and his family, and my sister Jody and then last minute shopping items.
Christmas Eve we had a fabulous dinner that my mom made. My brothers were with their in-laws so it was a quiet evening. Well as quiet as it can be with my two kiddos.

When I got Jensen out of bed on Christmas Day the first thing he said was "Christmas!". He knew it wasn't just an ordinary day. Santa didn't disappoint this boy either with lots of cars and trucks but he was content with these new cars. He knew all their names and even prayed for them the next day at breakfast.
Lucy was a little different. She was so excited to open gifts that she didn't want to stop. She was very happy that Santa remembered her three things from her list.
I was one happy girl myself. My parents truly spoiled me with a new silhouette.

After church we had the Knudsen party with all of the cousins. It wouldn't be a trip without a picture of these cute girls. They were all enjoying a piece of Lion House cake. They are so fun to watch interact with each other.
We had a wonderful trip and were grateful that the weather was nice. Hope you had a Merry Christmas because we sure did!
