Sad goodbyes

My principal Mr. Boles retired last Friday. He has made my school experience wonderful. My friends and co-workers Angel and Jaime would say the same. I can't imagine working for anyone else so I guess I will retire too! Well there is a another good reason for me to retire, but it does involve me changing a lot of diapers. Anyway we had a hunting themed party to honor and say good-bye to Mr. Boles since he is a mighty hunter. That's what he says anyway. Jensen came with me and was dressed for the occasion - of course!

Ahhh . . . a smile at last!

I finally captured the Little Guy smiling at me! He gets a little camera shy when the flash comes out. He hasn't had Grandma Cindy around too much to fix his shyness. I have to talk really funny to get him to smile but it is so worth it!

Pet Snake

Quincy is so happy he found a new pet snake . . . we won't say how I feel about it. Quincy has wanted a new snake ever since his last snake Lily died last year. Lily had been his pet for many years including up at BYU. He kept saying that he wanted to catch another one. I was hoping that never really happened. Well last weekend when we were in Logandale one of Quincy's nephews caught one. I was hoping that he was going to take it home. When his mother vetoed it I knew that we would be taking it home. Luckily it is out in the garage but every time I do a batch of laundry I have to look at it. Maybe I will just stop doing laundry now. I do check to make sure that it is still in there. Now we have to name it. We are not sure if it is a girl or boy. So it has to be a unisex name. My vote is Pat. What is your vote?

Two Cool Bad Dudes

Lucas is such a great cousin to Jensen. He always wants to hold him when we are out in Logandale. Lucas was making Jensen talk and dance this time when we went out. These are the two of them rapping away. We like to start them early.

Seems like yesterday. . . But thank heavens it wasn't!

My mom called and told me that an old classmate from Provo High called and asked for me at my parent's home. Thank heavens I am not living there after TEN years! No offense to my parents but I would feel like a loser if I was still living there. It is my TEN year reunion at the end of this month. I can't believe that it really has been TEN years. A lot has happened in those TEN years. So here is a top TEN of highlights from those years.

10. Being Employee of the Month for the Provo City while working at the library. Oh yeah and being on the front page of the newspaper for the grand opening. Yup Knudsen famous!

9. Being a teacher for four years at Iverson Elementary where I have learned so much!

8. Buying my first house in Las Vegas over the internet in less than two hours and not knowing anyone that lived here.

7. Attending Atlanta Braves Baseball games in Colorado, Cali, and Arizona.

6. Catching a t-shirt on the top row of the Kenny Chesney concert. Come on how often does that happen.

5. Going to Hawaii with my family. Oh I so want to go back!

4. Graduating from College - it only took me six years. They usually call those doctors or something but I just got a regular teaching degree.

3. Traveling through Europe for three weeks with my mother, my Aunt Shauna, my cousin Arrienne, and friend Angel. We had too much fun shopping, taking a thousand pictures, and eating pastries in every country.

2. Giving birth to Jensen - now that I have forgotten the pregnancy and labor.

1. Getting married to my Soul Mate (hee hee) Quincy Walker in the Las Vegas Temple and having a perfect dinner at the Hyatt at Lake Las Vegas.
