Jensen has a couple of things he is attached to:
his favorite blue blanket {always wanted a blanket kid}, his bottle {i know, serious bad mama, I've tried but somehow milk becomes disgusting when you put it in a sippy},
and well . . .me! But I guess that isn't enough for the little guy because he has found something new. . .

It's a hot wheels
truck that has a toy hauler attached. He got it for Christmas and has played with it occasionally but the other day it wasn't leaving his hand. He has others, but his first choice is the definitely the white toy
truck.

It went on our morning walk with us as he watched the real cars pass by. This is his favorite part of the walk.

He wanted to take it into the tub but his tough Mama refused. After a quick wash he wanted to get out instead of playing like he usually does. It was the first thing that he grabbed when he got out. It was also in his hand during his lunch of rice and apple sauce.

He wanted it in his crib at naptime but again I was a tough Mama and took it from him. He cried.
I gave it back to him. {See why he still has a bottle?}

Later that night he took it to dinner and to his cousin Dantley's basketball game.
He held it the whole game.

Yesterday, he took it to church. He dropped it twice out of the reach of me. I thought we were going to have a loud cry right in the middle of sacrament meeting. Luckily two different gentlemen saved the day and picked it up for him. I thought one sweet grandpa was going to fall off the pew trying to reach for it.
Jensen took it into nursery with him and held it the whole time I was there {an hour}. I had to leave him to go teach. At the end of the block a nursery leader brought him to me and said that he had cried himself to sleep {again}. When we got home I realized he didn't have his favorite truck. They must have thought it belonged with all the other cars in there. I wonder how they pried it from his hands because I don't have much luck with that.
He hasn't asked for it since he can only say "Dada" and "D". I wonder if it will be the first thing he grabs next week? Maybe he will be excited to stay in there and reunite with his toy truck. In the meantime he has found a replacement.
