Kitchen Remake Over Take Two

So most women seven months pregnant would be decorating a nursery about now if they haven't already done so. Since that would be my room, I had to focus my attention elsewheres. My mother-in-law has been painting her house and I tricked her into helping me paint my kitchen. The so-sad-she-is-pregnant-and-helpless-and-can't-do-anything really works so I better take advantage of it while I can. Last Thursday I cleared out the Coke stuff and taped it up. Now I have a red kitchen without any sign of Coke in it! Ahh!

Now to decorate!

Thanks Sharon for helping me paint!
Tip: When your mother-in-law comes to help you paint. Make sure to pull out the fridge before hand and clean under it. Eeeww! So gross and a little embarrassing too!

The 411 on Jensen

Man it's been awhile. I almost forgot that I even had a blog. I can't promise that I will do better either because it's not easy to get on the computer anymore with Jensen walking! Yup that's right, I have a toddler now. He took his first steps about a month ago when his Grandma Haworth was here. He was totally showing off. Now a month later he is all over the place. He still crashes and burns a lot, but for the most part he prefers walking.

Also about a month ago Jensen's top two teeth finally decided to come in. He has a total of four teeth now with two more on the way. He seems kind of behind on things but that is okay with me since he is growing up too fast anyway. Plus he is going to be a big brother in {hopefully} less than TWO months. Yikes!

Jensen loves pens and spoons lately. He always has one in his hands. We know it isn't too safe while he is walking but you try to telling him that!

He loves throwing things; blocks, balls, food, you name it! He made this mess all by himself and it seems that it happens daily. He even hit a baby with a toy block during movement time at the library last week. Let's just say we left soon after.

He still is a picky eater. He has a set menu that he has approved. French toast for breakfast, quesadilla for lunch and baby food for dinner. He loves his sweet potatoes still. His favorite place to eat out is Taco Bell which is a good thing since it is his parents too. He downs a whole side of rice all by himself. Well, besides the rice which he decided to throw on the carpet. Of course he still loves his pizza too. He can eat two small slices all by himself. And of course popsicles.

He isn't saying too much that we can understand. He still says "da" a lot for Dad and dog. Lately he has stared to say "ma" but it isn't directed at me.

He loves dogs! This is Snickers, his grandparents dog. He isn't afraid of it at all!

He loves books, especially books that have touch and feel or flaps. He talks in his own lanuage while he looks through them. Maisy books are still his favorite.

He has a favorite blanket. I always wanted him to have one. It's just not the one that I would have picked for him. He's funny. He knows if the blanket isn't in the crib and wants it. He also takes it with him when he wakes up so he can cuddle with it when he wants.

Lastly, he has a couple of tricks. This one is his favorite.

He also does "One Little Monkey" and a high five. We are working on knuckles.
